10/1/2006 – Remaking American Medicine is a four-part PBS series, airing in October 2006, that explores the healthcare quality crisis and the innovative solutions being undertaken by providers, patients and their families to transform the care provided by the industry. The first program, available on DVD at PBS, “Silent Killer” set the stage for the issues that are explored throughout the series, and features Sorrel King and her safety advocacy.
