Speaking Requests

Sorrel King is available to speak to groups about the medical errors that led to her daughter Josie’s death, the improvements that have come about in Josie’s memory, and the Josie King Foundation’s work to improve patient safety. Her speeches are typically 45 minutes – 1 hour, and can include a “Question and Answer” session.

We welcome all speaking invitations, and will try to fit as many as possible into Sorrel’s schedule.

Terms

Travel expenses and a speaking honorarium are paid by the host organization. Our primary concern is always spreading the patient safety message to as many people as possible.

How to Submit a Speaking Request

Please send an email to speaking@josieking.org, including answers to the following questions:

1. What is the name of your organization?
2. What are the potential date(s)/time(s) for the speech?
3. Where is the event located (i.e., city and state)?
4. Would you like Sorrel to do a book signing after the speech?
